What means FFV?


The common abbreviation ‚FFV' stands for Flexible Fuel Vehicle. It concerns the two fuels gasoline and ethanol, which can be burned by FFV vehicles in almost any mixing proportion cleanly. In Germany, there are some manufacturers such as Saab’s 9-5, Ford’s Focus and C-Max, Volvo’s S40, V50 who already offer popular mid size cars, that are factory equipped with the FFV technology.
