We are not a simple reseller - we develop controls ourselves!

Different to most resellers of car parts and controls, we design and develop our own controls. The G3-S for example, is such an own developed solution which we market successfully since June 2008 mainly to German and Swiss car garages, but also to curious individuals with a technical background.

The G3-S control has been based on a robust hardware with advanced software functions such as intelligent cold start and cold run routines that vary the amount of fuel according to the engine temperature. Moreover, there is an engine flooding protection in case of low battery power, a dynamic acceleration function which enables E85 driving as if it was gasoline. 

The G3-S is one of the first 100% micro processor controlled, fully digital ethanol controls on the market, that is continuously extended in terms of innovative software by our engineers.

To make sure, that the drive and fun with 104 octane, green race fuel does not provoke possible irritations of the vehicle's OBD2 system (see yellow check engine or MIL lamp), we take every care to design the control in compliance with modern OBD2 diagnostic routines, applied by vehicle manufacturers.

Our G3-S yet includes a high degree of passive safety, such as engine flooding protection. To reduce the risk of engine failure due to hardware malfunction, we select only 1st class electronic components and design the hardware with redundant circuits for each fuel injector (cylinder). This way, even with many years of hard use and high mileage, a component or processor failure, or a broken wire in the harness will at its worst just affect one(1) circuit (cylinder) which enables the driver to continue driving to the next garage, without need for towing the vehicle.

Due to this 'embedded quality' approach, we can proudly confirm that within 2,5 years, we did not receive a single hardware related claim from our customers.

As we continuously improve the controls software package, we can already offer special software releases for vehicles that are known for having problems with more simple ethanol controls, such us newer engines from VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda from 2001 on, Mitsubishi Pajero from 2002, Chrysler Voyager from 1999 on.

Remember that the ethanol control is the step maker of your engine. Obviously, it should not just perform more or less, but perfect and with a long life span. You may be surprised that a quality control from an experienced manufacturer as EthanolTechnik often is not much more expensive than a "bargain" offer from Far East.

To make sure, the conversion of your engine does not create any conflicts with the engine control unit (ECU), we focus on these aspects during the design phase:

• design according to known OBD2 diagnostic routines
• optimum cold start and cold run routines to enable easy engine starting in summer and winter time
• robust hardware design that withstands long term and hard use, irrespective of mileage 
• development of advanced software features, that enable the motorist to drive safe, comfortable and economic on ethanol at any time
• allow some tuning of the control, to adjust it to driver or engines needs on-site
