EthanolTechnik ranks 3rd place at this year's 24 hour race

Since 2007 EthanolTechnik supports the team
'Motorsportler Helfen!' with self-developed ethanol (E85) controls for the 24 hour race at the Nürburgring in Germany. More than 235,000 spectators saw the ethanol converted Ford Focus ST 2.5L turbo in this year's race on 24th May 2009 reaching 3rd place in its class. With this third place, we could once more demonstrate the absolute reliability of our newly developed G3-S2 ethanol control even under the harshest conditions.

The new G3-S2 keeps 280 "ethanol" hp under control

Team boss Wolfgang Förster after the race: "For the 3rd place in our class and 105 laps (2,665 km) in 24 hours we do not need to be ashamed of. We have achieved our goal! Sepp Herberger (past time soccer coach) said once: After the game is before the game. And so, we are now intensively on the 24 hour race 2010."

The team video for the 24h race 2009 with exciting scenes from start to finish, can be watched here. The full race report with pictures of our team from the pit lane, can be displayed here.

The newly developed G3-S2 controller is available for street and for race cars. There are also special versions of the G3-S for exotic cars including older Saab models from the early 90s, which can be fitted by one of our Saab Specialists in Hamburg and Dusseldorf for you.
